Management Team

Robb Hutchison, CEO and Co-Founder – brings 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership roles. He has owned and operated 2 successful ventures during the past 9 years; one in the HME space, Modern Medical a medical equipment company, acquired by Apria Healthcare in 2003, and ProviderLink, acquired by Compuware, Inc. in 2006. Prior to his startups, Robb has held regional and national positions in business development and as VP of Sales and Business Development. In addition to his clinical background as a Respiratory Therapist, Mr. Hutchison holds a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
   
Rick Reddel, CTO and Co-Founder – executive director for large corporations and founder of three different software firms over the past 21 years. In each enterprise he led IT, Engineering, and Software Design teams creating a wide range of commercially successful products. In 1996, Rick co-founded TextileWeb, Inc., an Internet marketplace and web development company, and August-Martin, a custom web-application development company serving Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Distribution industries. After selling these companies to VerticalNet, Inc. in 2000, Rick has founded and co-founded other software and technology companies including nuklias, inc which sold to Inquira in 2003, and LiveCargo in 2004. Rick earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and minor in Business Administration from Colorado State University.
   
   
Michael Hall, VP Client Relations – Michael is responsible for all implementation, continuing support and and account management activities. He has over 15 years of experience in software implementation and consulting, combined with an accounting background. Prior to joining Proficient Health, Michael worked at ProviderLink, where he was responsible for the software implementation and account management of more than 70 hospitals in the Southeast. Prior to ProviderLink he was responsible for client implementations with Dancik International, a recognized leader of enterprise solutions at clients across North America. His experience also includes internal audit and management experience with Food Lion, public accounting and financial auditing with the NC Department of Insurance. Michael graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Economics.
   
Kym Bean, Director, Business Development – Kym is responsible for the growth and promotion of Proficient Health through the sales and marketing of existing products, and the deployment of SecureAO, Proficient’s newest audit communications tool. Kym brings over 20 years experience to Proficient from her tenure serving the pharmaceutical industry.  Her skill set in computer programming launched her career and is a value-add to Proficient’s sales team.  Kym holds an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Masters’ degree in Health Administration from Duke University.
   
David Jones, Director of Technical Services – With 13 years of experience in software development and management, David is responsible for Product Development and IT services.  Previously, David served as Director of Product Development for Managed Data Group, LLC (MDG), where he led the full life cycle development of its Enterprise Reporting Portal and 16+ Point of Sale System integrations.  Prior to MDG, David was responsible for IT and Datacenter Services, as well as application development and management of off-site development for RightLinx, Inc.  David’s multi-faceted skill set, along with his proven track record for success, are key to Proficient’s team.
   
Mindy Samet, Manager, Client Services – Mindy oversees new client implementations and ongoing support services.  Prior to joining Proficient Health, Mindy worked with the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce as the Senior Account Manager in Member Services.  Under this purview, Mindy oversaw building partnerships with key local community members, businesses and organizations in promoting commerce, trade and local industry. She has also worked in the human services field in Atlanta, Georgia.  Mindy is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
